Half-Day Program (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

  • 8:00 AM – 9:15 AM: Arrival & Welcome/Icebreaker Activities
  • 9:15 AM – 10:15 AM:Legends Kickboxing & Self Defense Session:
    • Fundamentals of kickboxing techniques (age-appropriate)
    • Self-defense strategies and awareness
    • Physical fitness drills, agility, and coordination
    • Discipline, focus, and respect development
  • 10:15 AM – 10:30 AM: Snack Break (participants bring their own nut-free snack)
  • 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Real Life Skills & Empowerment Session (Theme-Based):
    • Monday: Communication & Teamwork (active listening, expressing ideas, collaboration)
    • Tuesday: Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking (brain teasers, scenario-based challenges)
    • Wednesday: Leadership & Responsibility (understanding roles, making positive choices)
    • Thursday: Emotional Intelligence & Resilience (identifying emotions, coping strategies)
    • Friday: Goal Setting & Achievement (creating achievable goals, celebrating progress)
  • 11:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Wrap-up, Reflection, and Positive Affirmations
  • 11:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Dismissal

Full-Day Program (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

  • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Same as Half-Day Program
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Supervised Lunch Break (participants bring their own nut-free lunch) & Free Play/Quiet Activities
  • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM:Advanced Martial Arts & Skill Application:
    • Review and refinement of morning techniques
    • Introduction to more complex movements (age-appropriate)
    • Martial arts drills
    • Team-based martial arts challenges
  • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Deeper Dive & Application (Theme-Based – Building on Morning Session):
    • Monday: Team-building games and collaborative projects
    • Tuesday: Real-world problem-solving scenarios and group discussions
    • Wednesday: Leadership challenges and opportunities for taking initiative
    • Thursday: Role-playing and activities focused on emotional regulation and empathy
    • Friday: Project-based learning related to goal setting and community impact
  • 3:00 PM – 3:15 PM: Afternoon Snack Break (participants bring their own nut-free snack)
  • 3:15 PM – 3:45 PM: Fun Fitness Games & Activities (incorporating martial arts elements)
  • 3:45 PM – 4:00 PM: Cool-down, Review of the Day’s Learnings, and Dismissal

What to Bring

  • All campers should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.
  • Half-day campers should just bring a snack and a water bottle.
  • For full-day camp, we suggest one packed lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle.

As Wake County has many year-round schools, we offer day camps every week of the year. We also offer before- and after-care options for those parents that need a little extra time.
